We’re proud to announce that Alloy Software has successfully completed its first SOC 2 audit!
SOC 2, short for System and Organization Controls 2, is a widely recognized security framework used for service providers that manage customer data in the cloud. This audit assesses how effectively an organization protects that data.
You may have heard of SOC 2 before—but what exactly does this certification mean, and more importantly, how does it benefit you as a user of Alloy Software? Let’s take a closer look.
SOC 2 is a framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) that evaluates an organization’s ability to manage customer data based on five Trust Services Criteria:
By completing the SOC 2 audit, Alloy Software has demonstrated that its security practices are thoughtfully designed and aligned with industry standards for security, availability, and confidentiality.
Even more reassuring—this isn’t just our own claim.
The certification process is comprehensive and involves an independent audit conducted by a licensed CPA firm. These auditors rigorously assess internal controls, security protocols, policies, and documentation to confirm that the organization meets the SOC 2 standards.
We want to extend our congratulations to every member of the Alloy Software team whose attention to detail and commitment to excellence made this achievement possible!
We remain committed to continuously improving our systems and processes, with the goal of delivering the most secure, reliable, and trustworthy service experience possible.
