This is a minor update containing new features and a number of improvements and fixes for issues identified in Alloy Navigator Express version 6.5.
The new Mobile Portal gives remote IT personnel and field service technicians full access to the service desk, allowing them to open, update and track service requests and perform other tasks. Mobile Portal supports Apple iPhone, iPad, and a wide range of Android and BlackBerry devices.
With the Mobile Portal, IT personnel can view, update and close assigned tasks and requests. Users can also stay updated with notifications of important events; communicate with customers and colleagues on the go; and leverage Alloy Navigator’s workflow automation to perform routine tasks.
