As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. This is especially true when describing your problem to IT support. The good news is that Alloy mobile apps can since now handle attachments, including pictures and documents!
Technicians and end-users can attach files when submitting issues or collaborating on tickets—in short, in all their daily operations. The new feature enables uploading an existing file from the device library and taking a picture immediately in the app.
Visuals can be extremely helpful when the issue the user is experiencing can’t be described in a couple of words, like an unusual error on the user’s screen or when the physical condition of an asset is critical for incident resolution. Technicians will also find it convenient to send over a document if additional materials are needed to help.
Attachments are available in Alloy Navigator and Alloy Self-Service mobile apps for Android and iOS. Update your apps today to get more from your Alloy Navigator™ ITSM software!
NOTE: To enjoy attachments in mobile apps, you will need Alloy Navigator 2022.2 or later, Enterprise or Express edition.
Alloy Navigator mobile app is created with ease of use in mind, allowing you to quickly access support tickets and collaborate with your team and users in real-time, no matter where you are. Whether you’re planning, tracking, or communicating, these apps have got you covered.
