We are excited to announce the launch of our new AI-powered search on the Alloy Software documentation site! The beta version of this innovative AI-search technology is here to enhance your experience by making document retrieval faster and more intuitive than ever before.
Finding information in our documentation just got easier. Instead of relying on keywords, you can now ask our AI assistant questions in natural language and receive detailed responses. The answers are based exclusively on the product documentation resources, ensuring accuracy and relevance without any speculation.
With our extensive library of documents, including help systems, how-tos, and comprehensive guides, finding the right information quickly is crucial. Each of our products has its own set of online documents, which can make searching the documentation site a daunting task. The new AI search simplifies information retrieval, making it more natural, efficient, and user-friendly.
Anyone can use it! The AI-driven documentation search is publicly accessible. Moreover, you can ask questions and receive answers in any language!
It’s very simple. Visit the documentation site and select AI search.
In the search field, you can ask a question in natural, human language, for example:
Next, specify your role—product user or product admin. Based on your role, the AI will search the appropriate set of documents to provide a more precise and accurate answer. You also need to select the product your question pertains to and hit the search icon.
The AI assistant’s response will be displayed below your question and will be as clear and comprehensive as possible. On the right, the assistant will show links to the documentation sources it used to generate the answer. If you need more details, simply click on the relevant link.
Although our documentation is only available in English, you can ask AI questions in any language! The AI assistant will provide answers in the language you use.
The AI-powered documentation search is fully operational, though still in beta. We welcome your feedback through our contact form or on LinkedIn to help us improve it for future updates.
