What’s new in Alloy Navigator mobile

Designed for IT specialists and managers, the Alloy Navigator mobile app brings key ITSM and ITAM capabilities to your mobile device.

Here are the key updates:

  • IT asset management is easier on the go. The Alloy Navigator mobile app now gives you access to more ITAM objects, helping you manage a wider range of assets directly from your mobile device.
  • My Work keeps everything in one place. Quickly access your tickets, tasks, starred items, and followed items from the new My Work section.
  • Put your most-used areas first. Add frequently used sections to Favorites and switch the home screen to Favorites mode for faster access to the information you need most.
  • AI-powered actions for everyday work. AI-powered workflow actions can help summarize Service Desk tickets, suggest solutions, analyze risks, and perform other AI-assisted tasks directly from the mobile app.
  • Improved reliability and usability. Additional enhancements help deliver a smoother and more stable mobile experience.

Stay connected to your IT services wherever you are. The Alloy Self-Service mobile app lets employees and customers report issues, request services, reserve equipment, track tickets, browse the Knowledge Base, approve requests, and access important information right from their mobile devices.

Availability and licensing

Alloy mobile apps are included with both Enterprise and Express editions of Alloy Navigator at no additional cost.

A valid Alloy Navigator account is required to sign in. Access to the Alloy Navigator app counts against your licensed technician users, while the Alloy Self-Service app can be used by requesters without consuming additional licenses.

Alloy mobile apps connect to Alloy Navigator through the native API. For cloud customers, everything works out of the box. On-premises customers need to install and configure the API module.
