Today, we rolled out AlloyScan 26.7, bringing centralized visibility into critical Windows issues, stronger control over site access, simpler macOS agent deployment, and more efficient network communication.
Here are the details.
What’s new
- Windows Event Log collection. Quickly identify and investigate critical Windows issues across your environment. AlloyScan now collects recent Critical and Error events during audits and provides built-in analytics to help you explore the results.
- Site-level IP access restrictions. Protect your AlloyScan site by limiting access to trusted IP addresses and networks, adding another layer of security even if credentials are compromised.
- Universal macOS agent installer. The new universal installer supports both Intel-based and Apple silicon Macs, extending audit coverage across your Mac environment.
- Optimized network requests. Reduced communication between audit agents and AlloyScan helps lower network traffic without affecting routine operations.
We’ve also fixed minor issues, enhanced performance, and refined the user experience.
