Complete transition to new data views

We introduced the new experience data views almost a year ago to unlock a new level of performance, speed, and usability. After a period of intensive testing and learning from user feedback, we’re now ready to fully transition to the new, enhanced data views.

Here are just some of the advantages that the new data views offer:

Speed and effectivenessFlexibility and customization
High performance: Enjoy exceptional speed and efficiency, even with large datasets containing tens of thousands of records. Adjustable display density: Choose from a range of display options, from comfortable to condensed, to suit your viewing preferences.
Smart auto-refresh: Stay updated with up-to-the-second information through intelligent auto-refresh functionality designed to minimize network load. Intuitive filtering: Utilize a natural language query interface and live editing for seamless and precise data filtering.
Instant previews: Quickly preview any referenced item within the view, providing immediate context and clarity. Collaborative sharing: Easily share views with teammates to enhance collaboration and streamline workflows.
Straightforward record selection: Experience natural and convenient record selection for an intuitive user experience. Dynamic conditional formatting: Apply vibrant conditional formatting for immediate visual insights and better data interpretation.

Shareable direct links

Another exciting enhancement in this release is the ability to create direct, human-readable links to tickets and other records. Simply hover the mouse pointer over a linked item in a data view or on an object form and click the Copy icon. Now share the link in your team’s chat or in an email to quickly show which record you’re talking about. Referring to a ticket has never been easier!

Shift-click the Copy icon on object forms for more informative links!

Keyboard shortcuts for ultimate productivity

We’ve added keyboard shortcuts to streamline access to two frequently used features:

  • Ctrl + G: Instantly navigate to any object by its ID. The shortcut opens the Go To dialog box.
  • Ctrl + F: Quickly find records in your data view by jumping to the filter box, allowing you to narrow down records with a few keystrokes.
