Summer has arrived, and so have the latest updates to the Alloy Software mobile apps. Managing IT just got even easier—right from your phone. Let’s take a look at what’s new in June 2025.
Your internal users and customers no longer have to constantly check their inbox or log into the portal just to see the status of a ticket. With real-time push notifications, updates come directly to their phones—instantly.
Picture this: it’s half an hour before the end of the workday. A technician picks up a ticket about access issues and starts working on it. Everything seems straightforward, but one important detail is missing. The technician taps Notify Requester, asks a question—and within seconds, the requester receives a push notification on their phone and replies.
That’s it! The issue is fixed before the day ends, access is restored, and the user is back to work first thing the next morning.
Without push notifications, that back-and-forth could have stretched into tomorrow morning, meaning the issue wouldn’t be resolved until later that day, and valuable morning work time would be lost.
