Alloy Navigator 6.1.1 Released

Today Alloy Software announces the latest release of its Alloy Navigator 6 Enterprise Suite.

Version 6.1.1 is a maintenance release, and it provides several enhancements and fixes for the issues identified in the previous 6.1.0 version. Here is a list of some of the changes in version 6.1.1:

  • Spellchecking in Various Languages
    Both Alloy Navigator 6 and Alloy Discovery 6 enable you to supplement the predefined American English dictionary with custom spell checking dictionaries for other languages.
  • Standalone Reporting Module for Alloy Discovery 6
    Alloy Discovery 6 includes the Standalone Reporting Module for generating reports from the command line or in a background job, which allows you to automatically generate your inventory reports without starting the Alloy Discovery Main Console.
  • Encrypted Connection Information
    The database connections strings for the Technician Web Portal and Self-Service Portal are now stored in an encrypted form for improved security.
  • Enhanced Web Portal Performance
    Version 6.1.1 improves the overall performance of the Technician Web Portal and Self-Service Portal.
  • Many Other Enhancements
    Version 6.1.1 features numeruous performance improvements and fixes affecting Software Asset Management, Recurrent Tickets, E-mail Notifications, Self-Service Portal, and other product areas.
