What a year! In 2025, we shipped three major releases of Alloy Navigator, accelerated the pace and depth of AlloyScan updates, completed SOC 2 certification, and introduced our new logo. Below, we take a look at the key features we rolled out last year, the benefits they brought, and what’s ahead.

AI in ITSM: From insights to full control

In 2025, AI adoption in Alloy Navigator advanced through three major stages, each release raising the bar.

1. Spring 2025: AI-powered insights

We rolled out ready-to-use AI actions – Summarize Ticket, Suggest Solution, Analyze Risk, and Suggest Category – across all Service Support tickets.

They deliver fast, context-aware recommendations based on your team’s knowledge and relevant public sources, automating routine work and helping teams focus on what matters most, while accelerating onboarding for new engineers.

2. Fall 2025: AI in workflows

AI became a configurable part of the Alloy workflow engine. You control where and how it’s used – by role, workflow stage, ticket type, prompts, and data sources.

AI-driven workflow steps are no longer limited to Service Support and can now be added to any workflow, bringing flexibility and full control across ITSM and ITAM processes.

3. Winter 2025: AI in self-service

AI-powered workflow actions expanded to the Self-Service Portal, embedding intelligence directly into self-service workflows and unlocking new automation scenarios.

AI Assistant for self-service

This fall, the Self-Service Portal gained an AI Assistant that draws on your knowledge base and relevant public sources to deliver fast, conversational support. Users describe their issue in plain language and receive immediate, tailored guidance, often resolving problems without submitting a ticket and reducing routine workload for IT teams.

Beyond issue resolution, the AI Assistant helps users request services, track tickets, and reserve equipment, significantly enhancing the self-service experience.

@Mentions: Collaboration made simple

Behind every software are people, and the success of any process depends on smooth communication. Alloy Navigator makes it effortless. With @mentions, colleagues are brought directly into conversations, receiving real-time notifications with full context – no extra steps.

Analytics and dashboards

In fall 2025, we introduced Interactive Analytics, turning your accumulated ITSM and ITAM data into instant, actionable insights. Dozens of ready-to-use charts let you track key metrics, while an intuitive interface makes it easy to create new analytics on the fly, share them with your team, or present results to management.

At the same time, we put dashboards in the hands of teams. You can now configure dashboards to fit your needs, add or remove widgets, and share them with colleagues to ensure everyone sees the right data at the right time.

Seamless ITAM and ITSM integrations

In 2025, we made connecting to other systems easier than ever. Pre-built integrations with Dell Warranty and Adobe Licensing simplify ITAM processes, while real-time Outlook sync brings all your meetings and events into Alloy Navigator, letting you plan tasks in a unified, connected environment.

Admin Center:
Total control at your fingertips

Launched three years ago as a modest tool, the web-based Admin Center has grown into a powerhouse for managing Alloy Navigator. In 2025, it made a huge leap! Dozens of new configuration pages were added, so now everything can be handled directly in your web browser, with the desktop Settings App needed only for advanced workflow tweaks and legacy setups.

With so many options, it might seem overwhelming, but finding what you need is effortless: just start typing, and the right pages appear instantly.

Internationalization: Going global

Closing 2025, we took Alloy Navigator a major step toward true globalization by localizing the Web App, the main interface for IT professionals, with Spanish as the first supported language.

Combined with the multilingual Self-Service Portal, regional settings, time zone support, and local work calendars, Alloy’s ITSM/ITAM solutions are now equipped to support teams worldwide, ensuring seamless collaboration, consistent processes, and a fully localized experience across regions.

SOC 2 audit: Commitment to security

In 2025, the Alloy platform successfully completed both SOC 2 Type I and Type II audits, demonstrating our commitment to the highest security standards.

  • SOC 2 Type I verifies that an organization’s controls related to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy are properly designed and in place at a specific point in time.
  • SOC 2 Type II goes further by assessing whether those controls operate effectively over an extended period, typically at least six months.

By completing both stages, we provide our customers with strong assurance that our data protection practices meet modern security requirements. We plan to renew our certification annually, reaffirming for customers the platform’s ongoing adherence to these standards.

Plans for 2026

This year, we’re not slowing down! See our plans below.

AI as your L1 Support teammate

AI remains our top focus. Already embedded in the Alloy workflow engine, we’re taking it further.

On one hand, we will continue to expand and deepen AI-powered workflows, adding new ready-to-use AI actions and simplifying their configuration. On the other hand, we’re exploring a new approach to AI assistance, designed to work seamlessly with your team at every stage of ticket handling, from classification to escalation and resolution, with full context and fully aligned with your team’s processes.

This approach boosts productivity across the support team, speeds up response times, and ensures consistent service quality, while routine work runs automatically behind the scenes, allowing you to handle higher ticket volumes without expanding your team.

With AI evolving rapidly and shaping industry trends, Alloy Software keeps you at the forefront.

Flexible AI assistance for self-service

You will have more control over the AI assistant in the Self-Service Portal. You’ll be able to adjust its capabilities, brand the welcome message, and fine-tune the system prompt, tailoring the assistant to your company’s voice and needs effortlessly. This flexibility will make AI not just a tool, but a seamless extension of your team.

Interactive analytics on dashboards

This year, we’ll expand analytics, giving teams more ways to uncover insights and drive decisions. New interactive analytics will be embedded directly into dashboards, so teams can explore, monitor, and act on data all in one place.

Centralized resource calendar

We’re taking Outlook integration to the next level with a full-featured resource calendar, giving managers a clear, real-time view of technician availability. This centralized visibility makes it easy to see who’s available and assign tasks effectively.

Advancing network inventory

AlloyScan, our lightweight cloud solution for network inventory, evolves rapidly with updates delivered multiple times a month. Coming very soon, we’re adding Google Cloud to the list of auditable resources and launching a redesigned, responsive interface for a smoother, more efficient experience. Next, we’re planning support for mobile endpoints, stronger management tools, and deeper bi-directional synchronization with the ITAM capabilities of Alloy Navigator, giving organizations real-time visibility and complete control over all IT assets.

And more!

In 2026, Alloy solutions will be faster, smarter, smoother, and more secure than ever, making daily work simpler and more efficient. By shaping and responding to industry trends while listening to customer feedback, Alloy will continue evolving as a unique all-in-one ITSM and ITAM solution with built-in network inventory.

It’s set to be an exceptional year for Alloy Software and everyone who relies on it! 🚀
