Fractal Explorer 2005

Fractal Explorer can visualize fractals in both 2D and 3D and supports a number of filter operations in addition to the six core fractal types. Note that this software requires the Java 1.5 runtime to be installed on your computer. If you are not sure whether you have Java 1.5, simply click the appropriate link on the right and it will be downloaded automatically if needed. Fractal Explorer supports the following fractals:

- Flame
- Mandelbrot Set
- Julia Set
- L-Systems
- Strange Attractor
- Plasma

Fractal Explorer also features five filters:

- Blur
- Drop Shadow
- Emboss
- Edge Detect
- Invert
